More Confidence In Who You Hire
We’ll review your request as soon as possible and contact you within 24 hours.

Your new fixture may be heavier than the old one, hang lower or need a different dimmer. Those differences affect how it can be installed. Ben'Z Electric handles the mounting and electrical connections so your chosen light fits the room and works with its controls.
A large chandelier or pendant can require different support from a small ceiling light. The existing box and mounting hardware need to suit the new fixture's weight and installation instructions.
A light that sits off-center over the table or hangs too low can leave the work surface poorly lit or obstruct your view. Moving it may require a new electrical box and a route for the wiring.
A dimmable LED fixture still needs a compatible control. An unsuitable combination can cause flickering or poor dimming, so the fixture, bulbs and dimmer need to be considered together.
Customer Reviews
See what customers say about their experience with Ben'Z Electric. These reviews cover a range of electrical services and can help you decide who to contact about your lighting project.
A successful installation gives you more than a light that turns on. The fixture needs suitable support, a position that works for the room and controls that match the light you chose.
The mounting box and hardware are checked against the fixture's requirements. Suitable support keeps the light firmly in place, whether you choose a compact ceiling fixture or a hanging chandelier.
Placement and hanging height are considered alongside the table, counter or space below. That helps put the light where you need it while leaving room to move and see comfortably.
The fixture is connected and its operation checked at the control. If dimming is part of your project, compatibility matters as much as whether the light is labeled dimmable.

Your Next Steps
Start with the fixture and its intended location. The installation then depends on the available support, wiring, access and controls.
01
Request service with your address, the number of fixtures and their intended locations. Include a model number or product link if you have chosen the lights, and mention high ceilings or a change in position.
02
The fixture instructions, weight, mounting box and accessible wiring determine what the work involves. Let us know whether you want to keep the existing switch or use a dimmer.
03
Installation includes securing the fixture to suitable support and making its electrical connections. Any additional box, wiring or control work depends on the fixture and the agreed installation scope.
04
The finished fixture is checked for secure mounting, alignment and operation from its switch. For a hanging light, its final height and position also matter to how you use the space.
These illustrations show three parts of a light fixture installation: securing the fixture, reviewing its details and checking operation. They illustrate the service rather than document a customer project.

The installer fastens the canopy at the ceiling after positioning the chandelier.

Product information and a discussion of the intended light help define the installation.

Operating the wall switch checks whether the installed ceiling light turns on.
Tell Ben'Z Electric how many lights you want installed and whether they will replace existing fixtures or go in new positions. Fixture details and a photo of the location help explain the work you need.
Before You Book
Plan your installation with answers about fixtures you have bought, existing wiring, dimmers, access and cost.
Send the model number or product link for the fixture you want installed so Ben'Z Electric can review its suitability for the location. Keep the manufacturer's instructions, mounting hardware and other supplied parts together. Customer-supplied materials are excluded from the company's warranty coverage.
It depends on the box's condition, support and suitability for the new fixture. A heavier light or a different mounting arrangement may require a replacement box or additional support. The old light's presence does not establish that the same box will suit the new one.
A new position can involve more than replacing the fixture: it may need an electrical box, additional wiring and access above the ceiling or behind the wall. Describe where you want the light and send a photo. Ben'Z Electric can review what that location would involve before you plan around a straightforward replacement.
The fixture or bulbs must be dimmable, and the dimmer must be compatible with them. An older control is not automatically suitable for a new LED light. Share the fixture details and, if available, the dimmer model so compatibility can be considered with the installation.
Ben'Z Electric offers free estimates. Installation cost depends on the number and type of lights, assembly, ceiling height, access and any changes to the box, wiring or controls. There is no single installation price for every fixture. The company's service call is $150, with diagnosis included; ask which charge applies if your request also involves investigating an existing fault.
Mention the approximate ceiling height, any slope and what is beneath the installation point. The fixture must be suitable for the ceiling and mounting arrangement, and the height affects access. Share the model information and a photo so the installation can be reviewed for those conditions.
Choose a fixture rated for its actual exposure. Damp-rated lights suit covered locations without direct water exposure; wet-rated lights are designed for direct rain exposure. A covered Charlotte porch still needs a fixture suited to the location. Send the product details and describe where it will be mounted before treating an indoor light as a suitable replacement.
